In my work as a social media strategist, I’ve noticed that many women in business are focussing on the mechanics of social media marketing instead of on what really matters. Some pay thousands of dollars for social media marketing courses but never successfully execute a social media campaign. Others spend hours in Facebook Groups reading bad advice. This is time and money that could have been spent on things that matter, like serving clients, sailing the world or catching up with friends.
Most of my clients come to me because they are exhausted from trying to run their business and constantly generate more leads. It’s made even worse by the fact that they have no clue what they are doing. The truth is that logistics don’t matter! Unless you are a social media strategist whose business requires you to know how to set up successful Facebook campaigns, you are wasting a lot of effort trying to master someone else’s job.
